Overview

The course provides an overview of Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) networks, the most successful standard of second and third generation mobile communications network. This course introduces the services and technology of the GSM digital cellular standard. It highlights the potential of GSM networks, but also the limitations of this standard. Special emphasis is given to radio transmission technologies.
